Traffic going UP has Priority and speed limit on our main roads is limited to 20 miles per hour.

Summary of Community
Framed by the Southern Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina, Hunters Ridge subdivision is a neighborhood community, sharing a total of 153 acres, rolling from 2811' up to 3664' elevation. We are located in Canton, NC, Beaverdam Township, Haywood County. Lots generally offer western and southern exposures. Hunters Ridge has plenty to offer to outdoor lovers and family-minded homeowners. The 74 year-round and seasonal residents value a high quality of life, enjoy nature, wildlife and beautiful views with dramatic sunsets. While spring seasons are delightful, summers are especially pleasant and fall brings spectacular colors. The roads are plowed in winter in the event of snow. Our climate Zone is 6b. Hunters Ridge is guided by an Owners Association (HROA). The Board's most important responsibilities are to protect and safeguard owner's interests with the management of the community's private roads, as well as the attractiveness and safety of our neighborhood, and the financial investment in our homes to property values. For safety and aesthetics road maintenance is continuous.
