Framed by the Southern Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina, Hunters Ridge subdivision is a neighborhood community, sharing a total of 153 wooded acres, rolling from 2811' up to 3664' elevation. Lots generally offer western and southern exposures Hunters Ridge has plenty to offer to outdoor lovers and family-minded homeowners. The 74 year-round and seasonal residents value a high quality of life and enjoy nature, wildlife and beautiful views with dramatic sunsets. While spring seasons are delightful, summers are especially pleasant. Each fall brings beautiful colors and the roads are plowed in winter in case of snow. Climate Zone is 6b.Hunters Ridge is guided by an Owners Association (HROA). The Board's most important responsibilities are to protect and safeguard owner's interests with the management of the community private roads as well as the attractiveness and safety of our neighborhood and the financial investment in our homes.The HROA has completed the four-year road improvement project (2014-2017) designed to renovate and improve our community access roads and to protect our property values. There are 34 houses currently built, several lots are for sale.
